WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Britain's Northern Ireland secretary said Tuesday she saw a ``slight gear change'' in efforts to break the logjam in the peace process and that the sides were ''within a hair's breadth'' of a settlement.

But Mo Mowlam acknowledged the pressures both on Protestant parties resisting the province's absorption into Ireland, and Republicans demanding an end to British rule in Northern Ireland, and said they had to be ``brave enough to take the risk of moving again.'' ........

I thought Clinton had declared victory on this?

Neocon, I know what you mean. I actually met a doctor while my wife was giving birth who's wife gave birth to a stillborn at 7 months. They had 3 other children and still go to the grave regularly to mourn their dead baby.

This is one of the reasons partial birth abortion shocks me so much. Actually aborting an 8 month old fetus, by sticking an object in it's head to suck out the brains, to me is no different than having the child and throwing it in a dumpster.

Another hypocritical thing about abortion to me is the same liberals who insist on arresting woman for drinking while being pregnant, are the same ones who want no laws preventing partial birth abortion.

Figure that one.

Michael

But then there's the research that shows that what most women feel after an abortion is relief. 90% are in the first trimester.
