One for the Brits - Rod Hull ( in poor taste ) [ Background for non-UK readers ... Rod Hull died last week. He was a stage & TV entertainer in the UK for 30+ years. He was a quiet, even shy, man, but his act was a large emu puppet which he wore with a false 'arm' in his jacket, using his real arm as the neck & head of "Emu". In guise of Emu, he wreaked complete havoc on the illustrious and famous, famously reducing the UK's top chat show to complete anarchy. Rod Hull died after falling from the roof of his house, where he was attempting to adjust his TV aerial during the Manchester United vs. Inter Milan soccer match last week. ] What have Rod Hull and the European Commission got in common ? Neither have a hand in EMU anymore. Why doesn't Emu need Viagra ? Because now his Rod is permanently stiff. What does Rod Hull do his washing with ? Aerial and Bounce. Did you hear about Rod Hull's funeral ? The reception was awful. What have Rod Hull and Emu got in common ? Neither of them can fly. <eom>
