One plus for NDB in relation to penny stocks is that you can place decimal limit orders using the webbroker. This can keep you from getting hosed on those high percentage spreads or getting bad fills on large orders as the ask moves up. NDB is slow and does seem to time out a lot. NDB will also accept your order no matter how odd it seems (sell MVEE limit $2.501 GTC), while others will reject it and make you call the broker.

Does Webstreet allow .001 limit orders?
