C, >>>Or do you just get mad when someone re-posts that Merced, Intel's next
IMMENSELY BIG and IMPORTANT processor, is DELAYED?<<<

I don't think that Intel has announced that Merced has slipped WRT the new schedule announced a year ago. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

If you are going to believe the Register, you might just as well short the hell out of Intel and mortgage the house to buy all the AMD you can at the same time. Go for it. What the hell, AMD has more holes in their bin split yields than a cartwheel of swiss cheese, but that's probably all fixed by now.

Cringeing AGAIN - Re: "Actually, you knew I was talking about Merced, but you took a LAME opportunity to twist what I wrote "

That's an ABSOLUTE LIE.

I took EXACTLY WHAT YOU SAID - YOU ADMITTED IT YOURSELF.

Re: "Maybe I should start calling Merced "Intel's next IMMENSELY BIG and IMPORTANT DELAYED processor."

Call it that if you want.

BUT CALL AMD's K63 chip "AMD's IMMENSELY BIG and IMPORTANT DELAYED processor."
