Nor did I. The only alert I got was to watch for free DOW trades after it closes above 10,000. There are some tricks to getting in an IPO with ETrade - look at the MKTW thread if you want to see others expericences with ETrade and IPO's.

BC, I called them on Platinum users being alerted and was told they don't alert users! Maybe the reference on their WEb page is just to generate more trading! I could handle their system being down sometimes if they would just admit their problems immediately and if customer service would give their customers some credit. As it is now, the customer is always wrong! I have filed a few trade disputes recently. They agree that the price was wrong but give me a price BETWEEN what I should have got and what they gave me! I'm told that I can dispute the action but that would require writing letters... Meredith
