G'day all - Steve, thanks for the article, ROTFLMAO. I wonder what tipped the good general off. Maybe the incriminating photo Mr Li Ka Shing shaking hands with Li Peng. Or could it be the name 'Whampoa' reminded him of the Chinese West Point?

Now I am worried. is HK going to be consider the PRC stooge simply because 'China trade' is interwoven the former commercial fabric?

Do you know of any Chinese organisation that has said no to the Chinese government? Perhaps the circumstances behind the minority interest purchase of Cathay Pacific by CITIC was an arms length deal? Could I also participate under similar terms? Or perhaps the Changhong case has escaped your scrutiny? Or perhaps the Haier case? Should the US rely on the intestinal fortitude of Hutchinson?
