Talking about the chinese bombers being setup in Panama, I think these kind of stories are ridiculous. I cannot imagine why the chinese gov has to do something like this. No reason at all. These kind of stories are probably set up by conservative westerners (probably people like Pat Buchannan) who want to use these twisted stories as excuses to take initiatives to strike anywhere in asia. The history has told us that if the US military involves in the asia affair, especially in south-east asia, the cost will be great. The chinese gov, like the soviet gov in the cold war, feels very scary about the US military force being so closed to them. China itself has so many natural resources. The PRC have absolutely no reason to expand the country or show aggression. Regarding Taiwan affair, the two sides are willing to talk peacefully. Any US involvement would cause more problem in the region.
