The March 22nd date is meaningless. The only thing that matters as far as the split is concerned is the April 2nd date. If you own shares by the end of the day on Friday April 2nd, you will have twice as many shares at half the price on Monday, April 5th. Simple as that.
I love DCLK but sold yesterday, with the intention of buying back somewhere in the 120's during the middle of next week. I think it has to consolidate for a few days before running into the split. If it goes up like this from now til split time (and nothing is impossible)it will be like 150, post-split. I dont see that happening.
So that is my plan. Whatever the situation I plan to be holding shares soon, just not yet.
