Greg Chattfield's employment by the notorious penny stock broker Brennan Ross is shown in the following record of employment on file with NASD Regulation, at nasdr.com Note that he was employed at Brennan Ross at the time of the 2/1/91 NASD action against both Brennan Ross and Greg Writer. So this establishes a previous connection between the two, and a previous connection with some securities fraud. Also note that Chattfield had a record of moving from one small brokerage to another, many of them located in Englewood Colorado. Except for the two most recent employers, all his previous employers appear to be defunct, because the NASDR site does not bring up any record for these brokerages. I assume this means that, like Brennan Ross, they were penny stock boiler room operations.
