TradeStation(R) 2000i, OptionStation(R) 2000i, RadarScreen(TM)
2000i and Omega Research ProSuite(TM) 2000i To Interface With
E*TRADE Electronic Order Placement Services

Omega Research, Inc. (Nasdaq:OMGA) announced today that it has
extended and broadened its marketing alliance with E*TRADE Group, Inc.
(Nasdaq:EGRP), a leading provider of branded online investing
services. Under the terms of the extended agreement, E*TRADE's
electronic order placement services will be accessible as a menu
choice within Omega Research's 2000i investment software products,
providing a new level of trading convenience to Omega Research
customers. The Company plans to add additional online brokerages in
the coming months. The Company currently plans to charge a flat
monthly fee to brokerages for being included.
As part of the expanded alliance, Omega Research's 2000i line of
products will be the exclusively-featured investment analysis software
on the home page of the Marketplace section of E*TRADE's web site,
where Omega Research shall be featured as an E*TRADE preferred
partner. Additionally, demonstrations of Omega Research's 2000i line
of software will be featured in E*MOBILE, E*TRADE's specially-designed
demonstration vehicle which is open to visitors at a variety of U.S.
destinations.
E*TRADE will also be the Diamond Sponsor of OmegaWorld 99, Omega
Research's annual system trading and development conference scheduled
this year to occur May 21-23 at Caesar's Palace, Las Vegas. As the
conference's headline sponsor, E*TRADE will host an interactive mock
"Trade-A-Thon" in which all attendees are invited to participate.
Other sponsors of OmegaWorld 99 include every major real-time
financial market data vendor to the U.S. individual investor market.

comprehensive marketing alliance with Wall Street Access, the
privately-held, New York-based, NYSE member brokerage that provides
online and personal brokerage services to the serious investor. The
marketing alliance has several aspects.
Investors using any of Omega Research's 2000i investment software
products will see Wall Street Access as a menu choice within those
products to place trades. Specifically, if the investor
right-mouse-clicks on a chart or quote window for a stock (or other
security), a place trade menu will appear with a selection of online
brokerages to choose from. By then clicking on a particular online
brokerage on the menu, the online order form of that brokerage is
instantly accessed through the Internet. Wall Street Access and
trade" menu of Omega Research's 2000i investment software products,
and the Company plans to add additional online brokerage firms in the
coming months. The Company currently plans to charge a flat monthly
fee to brokerage firms that are included.
Wall Street Access will also sponsor Omega Research's product and
user education seminars. These seminars provide in-depth explanations
and demonstrations concerning the use and benefits of Omega Research
investment analysis software. Omega Research intends to conduct more
than 800 of these seminars during 1999 in over 60 cities around the
United States. Omega Research's products will also be promoted in Wall
