Don't really mean to dismiss the 80's or the 90's for that matter. Some great individual basketball players in each decade. I'm just wondering if anyone else might feel that the overall quality of the game is not quite where it was in the mid 60's to the late 70's....primarily the college game.

I know palming the ball was called back then. And it seems to me that the passing game was much better then. I think college kids shot the ball better from the outside. Maybe the 3 point line has detracted from some of the areas where players seemed to concentrate on back then?

Actually I think it's really just demographics.... larger numbers playing the game translates into more good players. BWDIK??
