I wouldn't but I do remember in the old days not getting people to work because the overtime would make them pay more taxes.... <g>

It never made sense to me but it did to a lot of people or they didn't want to work?

Dear Murrey: You miss the point. To sell and buy back which is what most of these people are doing ie WHO would NOT want to own EMC? causes them to add to their cost basis whatever the tax was required to be paid. Some stocks have such huge swings that it makes it worthwhile but I would be surprised to see EMC fall back under $100 in this climate. JDN
