Management of IDT -- Strategy
by: Pure_Lip 39162 of 39175
I once had this business school professor who went around the room and asked each of us to pick the most important part of a company --and you can only pick one.

Most said technology. Some said sales and marketing. Some said finance.

But the correct answer was STRATEGY. Why? Because you can buy or hire everything else. But you can't buy strategy.

From this day on, you will see posts from me to IDT asking them what the strategy is. I will post this same question until the Company articulates its strategy to analysts and investors.

-IDT could issue a press release that they are embedding Net2Phone into every microwave, television, fridgerator, car, building and airplane and I don't care.

-IDT could issue a press release that they just installed 156 more Net2Phone gateways in 26 countries and I don't care.

-IDT could issue a press release that they signed 10 more calling card alliances with Fortune 500 companies and they expect pre-paid to be up 50% sequentially and I don't care.

Business development doesn't mean a thing if you don't have a strategy. Management of IDT, what is your strategy?
