Normally, I hate class action suits and consider most a modern form of extortion. In the case of the just initiated civil action against CPQ, I sincerely hope the legal sharks cut them to ribbons.

Dale, you just don't get it. As the bulls told me last year, Compaq learned their lesson and any idea that they were stuffing the channel again was a fantasy. <g> And they were right. They were just dislocating the channel. Better get a remote control to keep those channels in line. <g>

Today CPQ announced that they were going to concentrate on services going forward. Lots of reasons. The most important, that it is easier to fake the eps and revenues, was not one they gave. <g>
