70% doesn't really mean anything, even Dr. Ed said that. It was his opinion!

Here is my prediction: There is a 50% chance of a global recession and 50% chance there will not be one.

Who do think will be right?

Christine -

In regard to 'more mixed messages from Dr. Ed', I have a theory as to why he is hedging a little

Ahhh, folks.... Dr Ed is an economist. Economists ALWAYS hedge & waffle.

Back in September I had the treat of actually watching 2.5 hours of Alan Greenspan on CSPAN. It was GREAT!! None of that 30 second soundbite stuff.

When Y2K was placed to Greenspan, he didn't waffle a bit. In his own style he said it's a huge problem... (if memory serves me correctly) "There are a lot of unknowns..."

Dr Ed isn't waffling, he's holding back.
