LP,
I'm not so sure Weatherford much cares about public opinion. However,
we went to some pains to file the suit in a little town. I was told
that this was done for a reason...i.e, to cut down on the legal
procratination that Weatherford would certainly engage in if they can.
We'll see.
It's kinda funny....in a funny kinda way. Here we sit. One huge mother of a well...high percentage possibility of anywhere from 30 to 50 mmcfd.
Potential huge reserves. Another zone--the devonian that would come in a 10mmcfd. Logs all on record looking good. and we're waiting for the second coming.
Oh well, i guess i don't mind waiting a couple of years for a very
nice pay off. On the other hand, waiting for nothing is never much fun.
Lew

Yeah, LP a small difference. I am beginning to think that the only thing that matters is the quality of the management of the play on our side. If they are reasonable a fair settlement should be reachable for the reasons you state. If they are ridiculous the thing will take forever. As an example, 60 minutes last weekend showed that EXXON is still litigating a ridiculous judgement on the Alaskan oil spill. If it was fair they would settle. If it is ludicrous they will fight forever.

Cheers,

bob
