Bill and jb,

I appreciate the opportunity to address the demo account topic.

One of the advantages to the CyBerTrader system is the ability to do simulated or demo trading with live data during market hours. This has always been a feature and is one of the key methods for indoctrinating individuals in the functions and features of the software. Simulated trading allows our customer to gain knowledge and experience in operating the software without having to risk trading capital in the process.

We have in the past offered the ability to demo trade without funding an account on a very limited basis. In doing so CyBerCenter must obtain the same agreements for exchange data redistribution as are required with every live customer. In order to pay for the data usage CyBerCenter must then manually invoice each demo trader, and then follow up with overdue receivables. This is a lose-lose situation on two levels: (1)It takes valuable time and resources away from the primary goal - that of servicing the live customer. (2)It has the potential to push the bandwidth availability to the limit, thereby seriously impairing the functionality of our brokerage customers.

We do realize that this is not a perfect situation for all, AND we had to make a choice in allocating our resources in ways that we believe act in the best interests of our customers. The benefit of this process is that we can be certain that we have the manpower, servers and bandwidth to deliver a fast, stable and reliable system to our actively trading customers.

We also realize that offering the ability to demo the software on a wide scale is very advantageous. To that end, efforts are underway here to provide a FULLY FUNCTIONAL demo version of the software that will run in a self contained atmosphere from a CD or DVD. We do not as yet have a delivery date on this, and I wanted to give a look into things that are planned to address the issues involved with wide-scale demo use.

Thanks for the opportunity to contribute.

Sincerely,

MKS
