In the next 18 months DELL will continue to transition more and more of their business online. By the end of 2000 they will be doing over 50% of all of their business on the internet --- no other hardware firm will even be close. DELL will become increasingly efficient and competitive. They are also launching new web-based businesses (like Gigabuys.com) and soon possibly an auction site for tech equipment. Soon enough the big money and the smart money will be back in DELL in a major way. Many of the large Growth Fund managers will be adding to their positions -- DELL will be a rational play on the internet -- with a P/E that is "down to earth." The DELL growth story is still intact and this company has the best record of executing in the industry. This is all Just My Opinion. Fasten Your Seatbelts....Great Days are Ahead for DELL Shareholders!! Best Regards, Scott

sir vinny...re:going to the internet party...return home to the safety of dell...so who is sulking???? and if you imbibe a bit too much at the gala....and crash and burn on the way home... i'd rather stay warm and snuggly in my bed protected by my comforter filled with the down of dell, intc, msft, emc....get a good nights sleep...and be ready to prosper..instead of partying all night with strangers! ed a. p.s....not a sayer of doom...but a believer of fundamentals...remember the biotechs?

Someday they will recognize..... This morning a stockbroker from "vickers" (I know nothing about them) was on the radio answering questions. Someone asked "How can AOL keep going up?" His answer: join the present: there is nothing to stop AOL: this is the wave of the future and they are positioned for more and more growth and success. So I called and asked about DELL: His answer: Our firm was joyful when DELL fell to 80 (post split) and we went on a buying spree. DELL is an amazing company. It is actually an internet company but noone seems to realize it yet, but an internet company with solid fundamentals. Others will join him someday. Not today though, my cov calls (45) have to expire worthless. (VVVVVBG) Freeus
