Emory,

They are really very different programs. I use both. I use backup exec for automated daily data backups. I use drive image for disaster recovery.

Backup exec runs under windows and can automatically backup your data. It can't restore your enitre system from a boot floppy.

DI has to be run manually from MS-DOS but has the ability to restore you entire environment from a boot floppy...
