The direside warnings came from the press who speculated what could happen if automated computerized sell programs were not address. Everything I have read since then indicated the brokerage houses were well aware of the problem and making the changes which were minor. Per a CNBC commentator yesterday afternoon, when the DOW first hit 10,000+ intraday two days ago some sell orders did kick in, but they were by design, not because of any failure on the part of brokerage houses to fix a DOW 10,000 related problem.

Go fishing or trolling elsewhere.
