Lane,

Very interesting analysis. As I was reading your analysis, I was thinking that volume is probably 3-4 X daily average. However, it appears that volume is running just above average, maybe 2x by end of day, which is not huge for this stock. How do you explain that ?

I have a very shallow understanding of the BKS IPO. It seems to me, and based on stock action yesterday I am probably wrong, that the only new piece of information is the size of the IPO, $200 million. What am I missing ? Is there a date for the IPO ? and have the papers been filed ?

I think the bottom line is that when we didn't get a follow through on yesterday's impressive move some of the momentum players got out. IMHO

Ahmad

L-- If I read the Yahoo research correctly, BKS is looking at earnings of $1.54/share next year.

And, as I understand it, the IPO will likely add $10/share. OK, so perhaps a 25 PE on the basic company-- $38.50, plus the $10 for the IPO gives a prospective value of about $48.50.
Followon earnings growth of the basic (non-internet) company earnings is expected to be 22% compounded for the following 5 years, or $4.16/share in earnings, and something over $100/share value for the basic company. Now if someone can come up with a projected share value for BNBN to add to that, we can assign some solid, projected values.

Nice that BKS has broken above the downtrend line, but it would be even better if the momentum and MACD would go positive. Looking like a slow breakout, but still on track, IMHO... Would you agree?
