Wow, just came across this message board, interesting indeed. Publicity can do wonders to a person, especially when he/she gains an ego after the fact. I heard about DM through MSNBC or something, some article about him and his investments. It aroused my curiousity, so I checked out his site and the stock picks he had listed. Found the SI message boards through there, and saw some activity. Gained interest in the market, and saw $$$ in my eyes. Needless to say, I was watching the picks that DM made. The only one which I thought was worthwhile was the WCTI one, so I invested some money in that ($14 at the time, its down to about $11 right now). I only bought a handful, and invested the rest into companies I liked: (MSFT, AOL, INTC, TECD) and have been very happy with my performance there (AOL up 30 points since i bought it!). I've also tracked a bunch of other "recommendations" he had, but didn't invest in them. CITI, HEAL, LANZ, ORTH, RINT, FSOL, etc. I didn't see much activity in them. Most of these popped up after his "moments of fame".. Money talks these days, any insider can bribe anyone to get people to invest in them to make a buck... What concerns me more is that after he makes a recommendation (WCTI) after a couple of weeks, I haven't seen him support the company on the message board anymore... wonder why... But anyway, a lesson I learned: Never trust anyone's recommendations, unless they have proved themselves to have a good track record. That's why I decided to invest on my own rather then to go through a broker and take his/her rec's. I also love some people disclaimer's about their recommendations.. unbelievable, see what greed can do to someone? I should know, I'm greedy and admit it. ..Richie
