Richard, Several here have spoken well of your MsVarMA511. I can't seem to find its formula through searching. Would you mind posting it here, and include a few notes on use and interpretation?

Thanks,
Nicholas

Richard, another question. You've suggested using horizontal shifts with various moving averages (4 on 21 bar; 9 on 89 bar). What's the rationale for doing this, instead of just using the MA as is?

I'd appreciate your answer, but if you're tired of answering so many questions, I'd like to hear from others on the thread that use the same technique. Surely a lot of novices have wondered the same.

Thanks,
Nicholas
