There was an interesting article in TAS&C about moving averages. The author suggested to center the MA. He suggested to move it (n-1)/2 periods to the left (for example, shift the 201 day MA 100 periods to the left).
There are some good reasons for doing that, especially when you use simple MAs.

I try not to be bothered by questions. But you will probally find my many answers, even in posts since you showed up. It is not easy for me to keep answering messages over and over for those that don't seek the answer. Even explaining how I feel about it takes my time. The time spent asking the question should have been spent searching for answer.
