I had this other idea about 5 years ago that I couldn't get done. I went to junkyards and got Mashed Fenders. I mean mutilated pieces of metal. Then I took 'em home, I had about 6, and tried to set it up so I could cut them along a plane. So that they could be hung up on a wall and look like they were protruding from the wall; no visible seam. Couldn't cut 'em good enough. Pissed me off. Had I been able to, I wanted to strip them to bare metal, prime and paint them, then spray each one a different color of human skin, and then paint tattoos on them. Cause I wanted to do some tattoo ideas too. Then, if anybody touched them, they would be surprised to discover they were metal, and then they would realize that they were mashed cars. This is now a Claus Oldenberg Thing, I achieved the effect without actually making the sculptures. I need more wine.
