perhaps, earlie, just perhaps that is why the retail price of dram is collapsing. more supply relative to demand due to production efficiencies at mu... i'm still waiting for the masses to put the economic reality together that mu CAN'T lower costs significantly w/o producing tons more product.

Earlie,

MU is now my number one "put" choice

Sounds good to me, between you and Tad LaFountain I would say MU is close to a bottom and it is probably time to go long.<vbg> As long as 48 doesn't get taken out IMO MU moves up from here and I suspect Needham and Co is going to be in real trouble with their probable large SHORT position.:-) Tad won't be able to tout his way out of Needham's mess like I suspect they are trying to do.<ggg>

BTW you never got back to me when I asked you if your statement about Samsung making money in DRAM was actually correct. I may be mistaken but I thought I read that they made money on their overall business but lost some money on the DRAM portion.

Just following up since I am probably the only one on this thread that remembers your statements last year when you stated that you knew for a fact that Fidelity sold all of their MU stock when in actuality they significantly added to their positions.:-)...just a friendly jab.<g>

Good Luck on those PUTS.
