I think you're priority list is pretty accurate, although I could care less about the fuel being used by gov't leadership. Except that key medical personel should fall under #2. Hospitals aren't very effective when they lack key medical personnel. And Ken... go back and reread my post. I said we don't import many REFINED products from Venezuela. We import oil and some LPG from there, but not refined petroleum products. (too hazardous to transport). As for posting martial law stuff, I personally don't care. I'm sure certain people are suggesting you not fire it up with me on that issue and that's your perogative. I halfway expect martial law to be declared, but that is just a gut feeling. Are they preparing for the possibility? You betcha they are and they should be. People oftentimes wind up being their own worst enemies in periods of uncertainty. As for losing your rights under martial law, my advice is do what you're told, cooperate and don't aggravate, and always remember that troops and other emergency personnel have family and friends they are worried about as well. Patrolling for endless hours in your neighborhood is probably the LAST THING they want to be doing and the quicker they can terminate that mission, the better. Any abuses of power that occur under MA will be dealt with at the ballot box and in the courtroom after social order is restored. Btw, Hawaii was under martial law throughout WW2.... They survived pretty well, didn't they? Quit the fear-mongering Ken and think about the steps you would implement to get this country through the uncertainty in as orderly a condition as possible.
