PeteSez: When someone like Ole49'er asks specific questions don't dodge, counter with a request for their recommendations or ask them to be a volunteer. There is more than money to be contributed by the folks on this thread.
I have no beef with GATA's goal.
The potential donors asking me to ask THEIR still unanswered questions have no beef w/GATA's goal.
The people asking the questions have 5 unanswered questions re: structure, prior to sizeable individual/corporate contributions.

I have stuck my neck out and asked the questions @ the behest of the 6 private individuals/corporations. If that isn't a form of UNappreciated volunteerism, praytell, what t'hell is?
Bill is all about connections and ball carrying, getting glory, visibility. You show me an ex-pro football player that isn't and I'll show you a DEAD ONE!
However, even in t'days when he was playing w/out a helmet and thusmdamaged his logic braincells, there were 10 other men on the field as I recall, plus a defense team, plus an entire organization that would could easily be described as massive.
Bill's lack of attention and total disregard for transparency reminds me and many others on this thread of the faith placed in another ball carrier, a PROMOTER/PRES named David Walsh.
The very lack of candor and ability to distract with meetings and wild (all paid for by someone else to be sure) junkets to all corners of the earth in the hopes of raising his stock's price (Bre-X) left him vulnerable to the very "fraud" he is ultimately going to be held posthumously accountable for.
Ron Reece loves to use a smattering of logic and scripture to show the errant their ways. I just "volunteer to ask logical questions" and
Bill Murphy calls me names and then tells me I'm irrelevant when "volunteering" to do the very thing he wants the most...

I recall Bill's job was that he "worked for Veneroso" who we have since learned was one of his first client accounts when he was a broker for Merrill Lynch I believe it was, what, 10 years ago give or take...

Next "job" this guy talks about is going full time le cafe, and touting his "former connections" w/V's organization. BTW, has anyone besides me noticed the promised PUBLIC GRAND OPENING has NEVER occured w/le cafe? Ever ask yourself why???
Now, we suddenly learn of his "hotel/restaurant manager" education as a Cornell Grad. Now THERE is a totally applicable educational background for tackling the largest fiduciary system in the world, who is demonstrably capable of manipulating gold.

Unless he's a beneficial owner of Silicon Investor and gets paid by the word, his annual mbrship fee scheme to le cafe hasn't been much more than a valet parking tip allowance for this former $23 millon dollars lost in commodities trading...remember Bill's "copper topped" rags to riches to rags again story?
He's parlayed his interest in ECU to a double in 3 months...well there's a couple thousand but still in paper. And the SEC has a great deal to say about ex-securities licensed brokers making stock tip investing recommendations w/out proper licensing...
The more this guy peels back the layers when he's outta limelight,
the more he looks like Walsh and the more GATA is gonna look like Bre-X...BANKRUPT!! DEFUNCT! Money gone.
Bill has an attorney now doing the "non-profit deductible donations" investigation...Then maybe he could field an easy one:

I'll close with this one thought:
One of the nice features about Not For Profit organizational structure is that CHECKS WRITTEN TO: never needs to be revealed to anyone but those on the board of directors. The Board only gets to know, because the BOD is financially liable for said receipts and disbursements.
So, by refusing to answer the simple 6 questions from my potential donation's candidates, Bill is ducking more than one issue.
Bill DOES NOT have a job, while the other 2 gents do.
As I recall one of the 2 of them is out of this country, so good luck getting accountability from him when this thing turns out to be a bust, and the money is gone.
Hell, Bre-X BOD is fighting "accountability issues now" and they are a Defunct "for profit" with a Bill Murphy type David Walsh as the ball carrier. And Canadians ARE our neighbors.
How the hell does one large donor or group of donors hold accountable a So. African Political Refugee that is sitting in control of an ever increasing coffer full of money that it takes "two" people to sign checks to disburse?
Anyone heard of a Board of Directors with enough "assets" or business sense to handle large amounts of money in a fiduciary capacity?
GATA has an admirable goal: unhand POG you counterparty risk manipulators!
So did BRE-X: finding the largest gold deposit in the world.
GATA sells paper: $500 Alan Despirited Prints of abstract brillance.
Bre-X sold paper: .25c to $286 per share pieces of paper.
Bre-X made a few people rich...like Kutyn, and Felderhoff for starters.
GATA will also...if you count Bill and his two side-kicks.
Bre-X's rich currently live off shore in unspeakable luxury. Felderhoff in the Caymans, and Kutyn in New Zealand. The former a scaming geologist, the later a sharp lay FORMER BANKER who took his profits and ran like hell to the safest, furthers, english speaking location on earth.
Bre-X's accused of making up gold reserves to gather more suckers.
GATA's accused of not answering simple DIRECT questions. Must be a tougher pool of gold suckers out there post bre-x???
