Thanks Jenna, will take a look. You really took me by surprise when you mentioned Arnold's PPS book. I never cracked the cover, and it went out with other donated books. Very interesting to hear that you think of it highly. Is it worth a serious look?

Two stocks looking good for intermediate holds: WTSLA and NITE
marketgems.com marketgems.com

WTSLA sales have grown at a 36% average annual clip since 1994. The reason? Its merchandising rteam reacts quickly to chaning fashions and tastes among teens, which make 40% more trips to malls than other shoppers.

In its Jan. 31 fourth quarter, Wet Seal earned 95 cents a share, up 51% from a year ago. Sales climbed 23% to $145.8 million. For all of fiscal 1998, earnings jumped 25% to $1.91 a share.

Analysts expect earnings to rise 25% to $2.39 in fiscal 1999 and 18% to $2.82 in fiscal 2000.

Nite is ranked #1 out of 25 investment brokers.. They have a EPS rank of 99 and a relative strength of 99. Eps has grown 83% this quarter and 80% for the entire fiscal year. Sales grew by 78% and return on equity is an astounding 53% with Pretax Margin at a not so shabby 22.1%. ...With interest rates low, stocks soaring and trading via the internet all the rage, these are heady days. The Strong U.S. economy and recoveries overseas should help investment banks and rokerages. Low interest and the booming U.S. stock market are big pluses. I like it as 5-6 week hold with a target of 25% increase in price. What makes NITE so attractive is that although all indicators are billish (including 4 volume indicators) Stochastics are not overbought and the stock looks like its still got more upside.
