LOL- I am an antique dealer and let me tell you, I've been to tacky garage sales, ebay isn't one. It has the best selection of antique jewelry I have ever seen- and I have done shows all over California. I don't wander out of the antiques area- so I don't know about the rest of EBAY, but the antique sections are fabulous- both for buying and selling.

Which brings up another question ... recently you mentioned that you thought BBY was way overvalued, but passed on buying any puts because you thought they were too expensive.

I've about reached that conclusion concerning the whole internet sector -- with the possible exception of the internet brokers. With premiums so high on the main internet stocks, why not just look for easier pickins elsehwere?

MB,

It may be tacky, but E-Bay's the best thing I've seen on the web for a long time. I use it, my wife uses it, her friends use, my co-workers use it, so on and so forth. If there's any sort of central marketplace on the Internet right now, E-Bay is it.

Massively, massively, massively overpriced, yes. Worthless, not a chance. Not as long as there's junk in America's attics.

Thanks Mike that was funny. Giving Kenny Sander's A run for his money in the humor column. (G) Yeah that is one of my fears about shorting Ebay, That somebody would buy them out. But that scenario is getting kind of doubtful with their recent market cap. There was rumors about somebody buying Dell computer, isn't that laughable now. Dell was a buyout maybe last year or two when window 95 and before pentium 2 came out. Thanks Joe the loser
