An excellent insightful post from our friend, NoAnchovies, on Raging Bull this evening - Will the future PABN look like this? Given the perceived "lull", I thought I'd share my thoughts. For instance, Amazon.com, has traded (and correct me if I am wrong)upwards of 8000X earnings. If PABN were to trade at 20X earnings, at a conservative 5 cents a share, then Eagle Don gets a new neighbor, cause this Yank be heading south! But first ask yourself, "Self, why would all these private, independent businesses bind together under John Schmitz, if there wasn't a substantial financial incentive to do so?" Think about what we have, after only 10 months, in what in essence is a "Pre-IPO Company": Internet Group: Both Bill Black & Larry Roof are well respected in their field; Roof is even published. The due diligence from posters on the Internet group reveals a forward looking, progressive and ambitious group of entrepreneurs that know how to make inroads in this burgeoning field. They certainly are not aiming low. Insider Trading Its real, its happening, its profitable and its the new wave of trading. FirstStates As I have no reason to disbelieve the veracity of the press releases re the backgrounds of Ken Christian, et al., I want to impress upon all, the presence of First Union in the South Jersey and Philly area. The Flyers and Sixers play at the former Core States Center, now the First Union Center. The company I work for once was insured by "CoreSource"; perhaps it was related to Core States. First Union is ubiquitous; drive down the street and w/in a mile you see a branch. Core States was truly a large, large operation. I am very impressed. InterNet Banking Many conventional companies are getting into this venture; the banking wave of the future is in our grasp. Realty Money Center Their $500MM in mortgages is impressive. Expansion via 84Lumber has great potential. PanAM Health Again, posters have shared with us an organization that will rely on state of the art software in areas of billing & administration; patient advocacy may also be a sideline. NHLT, THRM, Belize, Caribbean, Yadda, yadda, yadda I believe many more surprises await us. Your view may differ.
