SFE was downgraded but they increased their target price from $60 to $80. Their target was $60 and the stock soared right to $70. Shows how much they know!
This is similar to what happened with many of the powerful internet giants (CMGI, AMZN, AOL) when they first started to climb to astronomical values. The brokerage houses all had to double their target prices because the stocks were soaring right through them. When the stocks had huge run-ups, they got downgraded because they were supposedly overvalued.
Look at the upgrade/downgrade history for AMZN. 9 downgrades and 6 upgrades over the past year. Many have rated it a hold/neutral/reduce/avoid. Yet the price is up 10X from a year ago.

DGL; on SFE; good point; the fundamentals and chart look terrific; don't understand the downgrade either; but, it's good to know that there's a sign of caution out there..regards, sw
