The next two steps in the RMBS ramp is, one, solve all the tech issues, two, prove that the RDRAM chipset delivers significant performance benefits in order to justify the higher price. I am not saying these won't happen, I hope they do, they just must happen IMO in order for the RDRAM ramp to accelerate quickly. mile, i agree with you there. are you uplifted at all by the the past two days' news that 2 major dram mfr's have just announced shipping samples next month and have set volume production dates? is it reasonable to think they believe they have solved whatever the technical glitch was? as far as the performance question, i think sony answered that one loud and clear. unclewest
