So nice to find others who have similar investing styles. I too used to try to pick a bottom, but that doesn't work when the whole market is correcting. So then I tried buying stocks on the rebound, around earnings time. The best pattern I have found is the cup and handle. And I keep price data on my picks to see how well they perform. So far the best holding period for these stocks has been 2-3 months.
