Associated Press Article With Pictures

This is how to get to the actual article on the Associated Press website:
1)click here: wire.ap.org
when you get there:
2) click on the link "here"
3) click on the TAB: "search"
4) type in the search term: chromatics
on that same page (item 3) select "The Wire" option
click on the search button (item 4)

(whew - wish it could be a little simpler - but it's definitely worth it (prints well too) :-))

Here is info on the Associated Press:

Hello Janybird:

From the 3.9 million babies born in recent statistics for the USA (see page 2 of the following URL)
cdc.gov
and the AP article by Galewitz has CCSI estimating ...company estimates about $330 million is spent annually in the United States on blood tests for jaundice. implies $67 is spent on every baby born in the USA for jaundice testing. With a test cost of $10 that implies every baby gets about 7 sticks. My personal experiences were one stick a day. That would imply 7 day stays on average. In my estimation, CCSI is probably 'estimating' the potential market about 10 larger than practical. With $5M in expenses without an operating business, and possibly a $30M market, I don't see much likelihood for CCSI to make a profit. I took a minor short position Friday 3-19 approaching 8. I don't believe CCSI is going to become a going concern with Colormate. Time will tell....
Best regards,
m
