No, I don't use AOL. I did call 90 and talked to a net2phone rep, they told me that I had to close all other programs including my browser to use it. This didn't make much sense to me since the main reason for my using it was to talk with merchants while surfing online. The net2phone rep didn't understand this and told me that it was just for making "regular" phone calls. Go figure!

Anyway, I figured some of the people on this thread might have had similar problems, so I posed the question. I think it's a good concept, but it looks like there are some tech problems to solve yet.

Question: phone instructions say to not run IE 4.0 when calling. I thought my browser was invoked when I signed on AOL, but maybe not. You are also supposed to close any programs before calling. I am on AOL and had horrible calling conditions, but no programs running, and unless IE4o is automatic, it wasn't running either.
