Thank you for the response rll. I am long this stock and think it has great potential, but also feel the current functionality from a computer may not be everything it's sometimes made out to be. What type of processor and connection do you have?

I have a hard time seeing an AOL deal if it works OK to great some of the time. However, I do believe as most here that something is in the works, and the technology has incredible potential.

These statements from tech support were not my understanding. Anyone have any comments regarding rll statement...

I did call 90 and talked to a net2phone rep, they told me that I had to close all other programs including my browser to use it. This didn't make much sense to me since the main reason for my using it was to talk with merchants while surfing online. The net2phone rep didn't understand this and told me that it was just for making "regular" phone calls.

Not trying to cut down the stock, instead trying to determine the feasibility of an AOL deal at this point in time, and why they are suggesting browsers need to be closed out...doesn't make much sense to build an icon into a browser unless it is unused while a call is taking place. My understanding pertaining to AOL is actually quite different. MSFT has apparently cut a deal with a competitor (not sure of the specifics yet, such as whether or not an icon will be on IE) and there is no indication that AOL is in any hurry to dump MSFT that I'm aware of.

Comments?

I should have done this some time ago...downloaded the software over a week ago, but haven't tried it out yet. Will do so tonight and report back. I would appreciate comments from anyone who has actually used the software...good or bad. I'm assuming everyone here has used it.

Thanks,

sf

You said, "I did call 90 and talked to a net2phone rep, they told me that I had to close all other programs including my browser to use it. This didn't make much sense to me since the main reason for my using it was to talk with merchants while surfing online. The net2phone rep didn't understand this and told me that it was just for making "regular" phone calls. Go figure!"

The rep was trying to tell you that the software you were trying to use needed your phone line free and perhaps a lot of your computer's memory. Net2Phone is NOT designed to allow you to talk to etailers while surfing on line, it is a IP telephony program for making calls with your phone from your computer. Just as making calls with your line won't work while you are on the internet, neither will making calls with Net2Phone work while you are on the internet. Net2Phone is not for talking to etailers, that's what Click2Talk is for. Go to:

http:www.easysurf.com

if you want to talk to etailers while on line.
