Task Scheduler: Tune Up Application Start

From what I know it runs a cleanup, defrag and scandisk of your drive. Clears some temporary files and re-organizes the disk to reduce fragmentation. Annoying as hell if you ask me, but for the people who never run scandisk and/or defrag it's a useful option.

I agree with Richard that those schedulers are just there to clutter things up. The tasks that they schedule can be useful, but I prefer to run them when I think I need to.

The fact that it is set to run four times on one day in the month is probably just Windows errata.
