Eddy, No disagreement on the quality of Waffen SS units and the men who comprised them (though I hate and oppose what they represented.) But you could hardly claim the the muslim troops employed by SS formations against Tito and his predominantly Serb units were of fine "Aryan" stock.... <VBG> But you're absolutely right... they could fight.. as could the Waffen SS formations with their fanatical fighting zeal (they would die fighting than die in bed). In that respect a few plane loads with bags filled with real dollar bills raining down during rush hour in Belgrade city, wrapped in posters showing Mr.Milosevic as a wanted war criminal and the promise of more to come from heaven (the green stuff) if he is caught and delivered would have quickly stopped the sorry show our elected leaders are presently enacting to what effective ending? Not a bad idea!!! Personally, I think that would be the more appropriate approach. We truly are ruled by idiots,IMO. Roger that... We face the wonderful opportunity of being sucked into a civil war and getting shot at from both sides. Taking the territory is never extremely difficult given the proper resources.
