Ram: Phillips original bid was finished as soon as the stock went above 17-1/2 and stayed there. Now it's a matter of whether the market is killing their next bid, and it seems like it is. Phillips will have to offer at least $25 to stop this and get the company. My personal feeling is they should do better than that, because if they offer $30, they will possibly kill their competition.

They have to satisfy the stockholders and also outbid their competition in order to get the company. $25 might satisfy stockholders but $30 would well satisfy them and also kill the competition. IMO.
