1. It would seem logical to my way of thinking that the purchase and use of ZIP discs would be much greater by those who purchased their drive as an aftermarket item than, in general, those whose drive was in an OEM box.

2. Anecdotal reports here seem to indicate that fewer retail OEMs (Compaq, NEC, HP, etc) have ZIP included in their machines (with the possible exception of DELL).

3. Could it be that IOM is in fact moving away from the OEM strategy of last year and back to an "after-market" strategy? There are still a LOT of PC's out there without a ZIP.
