Is there a thread to discuss the future of egghead.com? See you shorts at 26 and change. Market conditions may effect the accuracy of this post.

<<Looks I'll get a short in at 20 3/4 afterall or maybe you'll get that run to 23>>

Yeah, I'm getting tempted to start slappin' it silly, but I'm going to stick with my Falstaff version of EGGS trading which recommends discretion. Biggest trade today was a whopping 50K sale at 9:38:21. I myself have not seen anything this large in the months I've followed EGGS, but of course I only sporadically check the tape.

Ohh, yeah, I better cover myself. That the above trade was a sale is JMHO. My only evidence for this is that the print is at 20 1/4 and the bid on the inside spread at that time was 20 1/2. From my quick scan of the tape I don't find a bid on the inside spread that low until back at 9:35:45, and on the ask not back till 9:35:27. (Reason I mention this is that I believe both of those times are far enough away from the 50K print that they would require a late trade annotation- but I'm no expert on this). I could have easily made a mistake so check me out, folks.

Was that sufficiently cautious, I wonder?

Kip: Well, I took a position in EGGS first time in a long time. I not sure, but I think this was my first loosing trade on EGGS...<g>

I went short at 19.75...yes I bought right before what I thought would be a drop...I got snookered...with in minutes my technicals reversed and gave me a cover signal. Well, I decided to hang in and let my stop loss take me out and it did.

The MM's are walking this puppy up today, no doubt. ISLD is the leading MM moving it up, but others are helping. I don't mind a stock moving up because the public is buying it, but the MM's are moving it up to hit those trigger points to lure in JQP.

Those phantom bids at 45 to 65K that come and go in a flash, should be "against the law"...<ng>

When the MM's pull support, EGGS is a short...<g>

Regards,
LG
