bp, I simply do not see any strategic goal that can achieved by bombing, or even attempting to hold "territory" in Yugoslavia. What do we do after we kill 500 or 5000 Serbian soldiers?

I think a better solution than spending a billion bucks on smart bombs is to send then a billion bucks of good food and drinks, get them addicted to the good life, and then suddenly stop it unless they agree to a civil settlement in Kosovo. I frankly think that they'll be running to the negotiating table much faster if you stop that flood of goodies than if you kill few of their countrymen. And you know what, it will cost our less and we will not loose one American (except in some stupid transport accident) in battle, not one pilot tortured and then paraded before the masses.

By the way, this is not a joke or said in jist, I really think that it will work, and in the process, it might even help the European economy which is rapidly getting down the slippery road to recession.
