Lwolf, i read those articles too and i admit they were a little bit sensational.

I also believe that Mr. Greenspan has an extraordinary influence on the US Economy. However, I do not believe he can control it as many would believe. The forces moving international capital flows are too complex for one man to control.

As far as Armstrong stating a date for the 'crash', I believe in his article he is calling for things to start getting nasty after April 8th. However, he is not necessarily calling for a crash, perhaps just a slow boring decline lasting until December.

I can tell you one thing though, IF we are going to get a crash then it is going to have to happen pretty quickly, sharp and decisive with minimal 'backing and filling'. This is what I have learned with respect to divergences, like the one we have now.

If marty is right about the march 18th top then it would mean we wont see the bottom of the decline until 2002 according to him...geez....

As far as DCLK goes, I agree, also good to stay with the company long term. But on the other hand, if one has enough intelligence to suggest that DCLK could be selling for 70 instead of 160 in a few months wouldnt you consider it worth the wait?

In my opinion, the leading internets are the best stocks to own in ANY kind of market environment/recession or otherwise. These companies are very recession resistant in my opinion.
If we do get a major sell off in the coming months, I am gonna buy some of the leading internets like a madman....

I sold about 1/3 of my DCLK this morning at 185 (wish it had been all of it). At the end of the day, I got chicken and sold the rest of it at 167. I also sold everything else. Sold ATHM at a + and got crushed on EXDS. I'm on the sidelines for awhile. We still have a week of warnings. Still could hear from INTC or some Dow stock. Anything will send this market down right now. Going to preserve my profits. Probably will miss a good run. Be just my luck. Good luck to all of you.
