PeopleSoft Appoints Aneel Bhusri Vice Chairman; Move Strengthens Board of Directors PLEASANTON, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 23, 1999--PeopleSoft, Inc. announced the appointment of Aneel Bhusri to vice chairman of the company and the addition of Bhusri to its Board of Directors. As vice chairman, Bhusri will continue to work closely with the PeopleSoft management team and Board of Directors, and will maintain his active role in setting the strategic direction of the company. Bhusri, 33, joined PeopleSoft in 1993 and has served as senior vice president, Product Strategy, Marketing and Business Development for the past several years. Over the next few months, Bhusri will transition out of his day-to-day operating responsibilities and will focus his attention on longer term strategy, market and product issues.
