WOOD announced their new "natural products laboratory in brazil" "began processing" supplements, they claim to have purchased " productos naturais do trapezio do amazonas, ltda" which " began producing 24 products " "from 100% dry natural single plants..." & that "these products are harvested from company-owned properties. the release also claims ".....in no way damages the integrity of the company's rainforest property." can anyone post an address or phone number for "productos naturais do trapezio do amazonas, ltda" ? i have been unable to locate this lab in tabatinga. who is the the "chemical engineer" with herb background that was hired to bring the plant into production? the release claims that the lab is producing "24 products from 100% dry natural plants", yet copaiba & maca andiruba, 2 of the products mentioned, are oils. the release claims that these products are harvested from "company owned properties", where are these properties? land in the brazilian amazon rainforest can not be "owned", only leased, or in the case of aznt, granted . the govt. owns all the brazilian rainforest. if the company owns rainforest land, what country is it in? what are the costs for transporting the plants & materials to this new lab in tabatinga? if these products are indeed procured from the brazilian amazon rainforest, there is only one export license granted for the export of these plants & it is not granted to madera. and though the sentiment of the 'plant-a-tree- campaign is noble, one can not plant a tree in the brazilian rainforest without a license. where is the lab? an address or phone number would be much appreciated. where is the "company owned land"? what is the cost for transporting these plants & materials to this new lab if they derive from another country in the rainforest? if the plants are from the brazilian rainforest, how are the products going to be exported to u.s. & caribbean markets without an export license? thanks in advance. spider
