Gerry,

I'm way over my head here. But could you or anyone please comment on the future of gallium arsenide substrates? I found a company that looks promising but am uncertain of the technology and/or future outlook of its products. This in not a spam, or a tout, it is a piece of my DD. Any comments would be appreciated. Here is a quote from a snapshot of the company's profile.

XXXX makes semiconductor substrates from materials other than silicon for manufacturers of products such as wireless and fiber-optic telecommunications systems, lasers, light-emitting diodes, satellite solar cells, and consumer electronics. Substrates made up of gallium arsenide account for about 95% of XXXX sales. The firm also makes substrates using other materials such as indium phosphide and germanium, with others in development.

I will give the Ticker if anyone is interested.

The nature of journalism includes making mistakes now and then. Anyone who has seen their words mangled in print by well meaning (let's be charitable) journalists knows the only way to avoid these SNAFUs is to refuse all interviews.
