It amazes me the number of people who constantly refer to technical analysis regarding penny stocks and seem to place quite a bit of importance on it. I have a substantial background in TA, using it exclusively to trade stock index futures, which is a very liquid market. Technical analysis is the study of market action, which includes three principal sources of information- price, volume, and open interest. Since there is no substantial market participation in penny stocks why do you all think it has so much relevance? These stocks are not legally shorted, are very illiquid, and heavily manipulated by market makers among others. Keeping your methodology very simple such as not buying into a run up and placing the majority of emphasis on fundamental analysis make much more sense in my opinion since so many of these companies never make it. JMT, sorry if I offended you but I am a TSIS shareholder and keep seeing this applied to TSIS as if it means a whole lot. Open minded but extremely skeptical.
