"The global market will be big enough only to support one Big LEO operator, said Carissa Bryce Christensen," Even if her cystall ball is brighter than Vod/AirTouch and all the research G* and its strategic partners did and she is right, at least we are on the right horse. Demand has always been one of Wall Street's major concerns and I* is now justifying those concerns. But I recall from previous discussions months or years ago on this board that G* and I* were never really going after the same market. I* has always targeted the globetrotter and made the false assumption that he or she whould pay a premium for the the brick. G* has always targeted the unserved market with globetrotter adding gravy. If you consider the market to be a pyramid, I* is targeting the top 10 - 20% with G* going after the rest. I have got to believe that market is large enough to support at least one system. Does anyone know Carisa's background or credentials?
