It sure seems like it today, doesn't it !
But an hour ago, when the dow turned positive and went up to +20, amzn went from 115
to 120 in five minutes. And I think it will do it again, if the general market turns up. If
the story was really over, meaning amzn was being valued on its earnings, it would have
gone much much lower.

Sarmad,

I agree AMZN moves with the market since it is part of the basket.

The story is not over in everyone's mind presently. Not even close. I noticed three brokerage reports last evening that did not even mention AMZN. The DLJ internet observer mentioned AOL and YHOO but AMZN was mysteriously ignored. I believe the hype from Keith, Mary and Blodget is ending slowly. I see AMZN becomming for a forgotten stock. Let the public forget it was hyped and these internet analysts will move on to other companys. That is a gut feeling. That was my basis for exiting my long positions at a loss. I won't short due to the risk and prior experience. The final problem is the supply of Inet stocks has increase a lot.

Sarmad i would be comfortable with 130 target for tomorrow and test of 122. I would like to see two closes above 130 before we go on to test 140 and go higher. I think a possible retest of todays lows are in the cards so don't get trapped.
